Benefits of Baptism in the Holy Spirit

There are many benefits of baptism in the Holy Spirit and are too numerous to mention all of them here.

However, one of the main benefits is that you build yourself up by strengthening your inner man. So often we don't know how to express ourselves to God.

Our mother tongue seems insufficient to convey our love for God to Him, or to even express our prayer requests accurately.

This is where praying in tongues or praying in the Spirit helps you. The Bible says, "Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses.

For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groaning which cannot be uttered." Romans 8:26

This dimension of living is available simply by asking in faith. If this is new to you, I encourage you to talk to God about it.

Tell God that you want everything He has for you. Ask Him to guide and direct you, and remember-you never have to be afraid of what He gives to you.

The Bible says, "If a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish?

Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him".

"God is good, and you can expect good things from Him. Develop a relationship with the Holy Spirit and you will find that the Holy Spirit will be a friend and a helper throughout your Christian life.

As you begin to enjoy salvation, God's gift to you, you will find that there will be many things to learn.

Your mind will continue to be renewed, and there will be continuous growth in your life. You will find that life is a wonderful experience as God's plans and purposes are fulfilled in you.
